The Best Pizza Sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon sugar

Heat oil, onions, green pepper, mushroom.
Add tomatoes, garlic, basil, oregano, bay leaf.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
